Bob Adelman, “Mourners at Spelman College waiting to view Kings coffin, Atlanta GA 1968”

It is too difficult to see the specifics of the people in this line up of mourners.  This tale is told in quick strokes, two grass and sky bisected sharply by trees and people.  It is a metaphor for the racial divide in this country too.  It is heartbreaking without our clearly understanding what has been recorded.  It commands our respect.
